Not sure where to start? Check out our Top 7 reasons why you should attend HSBC SVNS SGP:

1. World-class sport

HSBC SVNS SGP is set to host an electrifying spectacle with the world's top 12 men's and 12 women's rugby sevens teams, including powerhouse nations like the New Zealand All Blacks Sevens and Black Ferns Sevens, double men’s Olympic champions Fiji, perennial favourites South Africa, Samoa, Australia, Argentina and rising force Ireland.

Across three thrilling days of competition, some of the world’s best athletes will display unmatched speed, skill, and athleticism in this shorter, fast-paced format of the game.

In Singapore the teams will be battling it out to decide the HSBC SVNS League Winners. Men’s SVNS standings leaders Argentina have been drawn in a tough looking Pool A together with recent Hong Kong winners New Zealand, Australia and Canada. League title contenders Ireland are in Pool C with double Olympic champions Fiji, the USA and Great Britain. Pool B is led by France, who have reached the podium at the last three rounds, alongside South Africa, Spain and Samoa.

The women’s pool draw sees current standings leaders New Zealand in Pool A with Canada, Ireland – who won gold in Perth – and Spain. SVNS league title rivals Australia are drawn in Pool C together with Fiji, Great Britain and Brazil. Pool B sees the USA, who were finalists last time out in Hong Kong, alongside France, Japan and South Africa.

2. Fast and furious action

Rugby sevens is an abbreviated form of rugby, featuring two teams of seven players. Played on a full-size rugby pitch, a rugby sevens match is 14 minutes long, consisting of two halves of seven minutes each. The opposing teams compete to score points via tries, conversions, penalties and drop goals. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the match. As in the 15-a-side game, the ball must be passed backwards and can be moved up the pitch by running, passing or kicking it.

Sevens rugby is full of energy and set on making big waves. Super-charged and thrill-a-minute, it’s the ultimate test of individual skills and fitness, guaranteeing end-to-end action and tries galore!

3. Kick back at the Beach Club

We'll bring the beach, you bring the energy! Party all afternoon, through sundowners and into the night at our iconic beach club. In Singapore, we’re bringing the beach club right in to the stadium bowl so you can enjoy the good vibes while catching all the action on the pitch. Expect DJ sets, bars and live entertainment to keep the festival feeling going all day long.

4. Savour the Food Markets

This isn't your regular food market. With a host of local food vendors joining the line-up there’s plenty of tasty options to enjoy during your day at the National Stadium. Cool off with an artisanal gelato from Motor Folks or try out the options at the LocoLoco and Sohtt Singapore food trucks. You’ll also find plenty of space to sit back and relax – perfect if you’re taking a break from cheering on your team from the stands.

5. Party on with live music

Prepare for the sounds of HSBC SVNS! No good party is complete without a resident DJ (we’ve got a few, including DJs Groove Master and Wildflower), live acts and good vibes – we promise you this is one party you’ll want to be part of. Joining our DJ acts, we’ve got a host of live music performances from local acts including Alyssa Lie and Jocelyn Ng. Expect a festival atmosphere around the stadium; with entertainment on offer all weekend long SVNS SGP will have as much action off the pitch as there will be on it.
