World Rugby and TEG Rugby Live have announced that the HSBC SVNS Series is returning to the New York area for the second successive year on 13-14 March, 2027.
The world’s premier rugby sevens competition will highlight the best men’s and women’s rugby teams, as they prepare for LA28.
After taking off in Dubai in November 2026 and stopping off in Cape Town, Singapore, Perth, and Vancouver, the sixth leg of the HSBC SVNS Series in New York will serve as the grand finale to the regular-season competition.
Tickets for HSBC SVNS New York go on pre-sale on Monday, 28 September, at 10am ET; and Wednesday, 30 September, 10am ET for general on-sale tickets.

“Now the focus turns to New York in March, where fans can expect world-class rugby and incredible athleticism with the best men’s and women’s sevens teams going head-to-head.
“New York is one of the world’s great sporting and entertainment cities and HSBC SVNS is made for that stage. We can’t wait to welcome fans back."
HSBC SVNS New York will be hosted at Sports Illustrated Stadium, home to Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls and 2025 NWSL Champions NJ/NY Gotham FC.
This series highlights the world’s top eight men’s and women’s teams, allowing them to showcase the talent, speed and skill needed to succeed in LA28.
New York City is ready to welcome back the women’s and men’s 2025-26 champions, Australia and South Africa, as they defend their titles.
