Home to HSBC’s US Headquarters, New York is one of the most diverse global hubs in the world, making it the perfect host city for the international rugby sevens tournament.   

Over the course of this weekend, the world’s top men’s and women’s teams will go head-to-head, each fighting for HSBC SVNS series points as the race for the championship heats up. Expect outstanding skill, breathtaking pace and the kind of drama that only a sevens tournament can deliver. 

Rugby sevens is a sport on the rise in the United States, and we are proud that HSBC is playing a central role in that growth. Following the USA Women’s historic Olympic medal in Paris, and with the 2028 Olympics, the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2031, and the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2033, set to be hosted on American soil, this is a truly exciting moment for the sport in this country. We hope this weekend inspires a new generation of fans and players to fall in love with the game. 

Alongside the on-field action, HSBC is proud to extend our partnership with rugby sevens beyond the stadium. Through our global rugby grassroots program, more than half a million young people around the world have had the opportunity to experience the values and joy of the sport.
