Great Lakes Telemedicine Neurosurgery Network
Saginaw Valley Neurosurgery, in partnership with the Central Michigan University Research Corporation, has developed an extensive network of telemedicine-linked clinics throughout northeastern lower Michigan. Our physicians have linked this network of clinics to hospitals and offices in Saginaw via the latest cutting-edge telemedicine technologies. Through our strong relationship with SkyWeb, our dedicated internet service provider, Saginaw Valley Neurosurgery can exclusively utilize wireless broadband internet services to offer telemedicine capabilities in many rural and remote areas in Michigan. This enables us to more frequently and more conveniently serve our patients. These technologies enable our physicians to communicate in crystal clear video and audio to patients and other medical professionals literally anywhere in the world.
In addition, Saginaw Valley Neurosurgery also utilizes its telemedicine network to conduct educational programs for physicians and students around the country. Our partnerships with Central Michigan University and other institutions enable us to deliver cutting edge healthcare and medical educational programs remotely, including to underserved communities, around the world.
